Fonds consists of documents from Greg Doran’s education in Peterborough beginning at St. Alphonsus in 1975-1983, followed by St. Peter’s High School 1983-1988, Trent University in 1988-1992, and Sir Sanford Fleming College from 1994-1995.

Collection consists of greeting cards, humorous postcards, and postcards portraying places in Canada, U.S.A., and the U.K. Some of the humorous postcards depict social concerns of the time, such as the women's suffragette movement and WWI. Several of the cards were posted to people in Yorkshire, England and in Markham and Milliken, Ontario.

This item is a foreman's wage and material book from the Engineer Department of the Grand Trunk Railway, showing the name and occupation of workers, rate and amount of pay and material used for each four week period, 1866 to March 7, 1874. Each page bears the notation "paid at Belleville".

This item is an account book kept by the Grafton Woman's Missionary Society between 1911 and 1926. The Society kept track of expenses, membership and profits. The book has members names and what they paid in membership plus donations from members who were unable to attend meetings. There is also a Treasurer's quarterly report booklet which can be found between the pages of the account book.

This fonds consists of two Christmas greeting cards sent to the Ropers by Ned and Vi Pratt. The card dated 1953 called "Night" with woodcut illustration by their daughter, Claire Pratt, contains a simple seasonal greeting. The other card, undated, contains a poem called "Magic in Everything", and is embellished with pen and ink decorations by Claire Pratt. Both cards are enclosed in a Trinity College envelope. Also included are three paper fragments: a typewritten one presumably quoting an aphorism by Pratt; a handwritten note referring to pages 380 and 396 in the volume Collected Poems in Roper's handwriting; and another reference to page 230.

This fonds consists of typescript copies of correspondence of G.M. Roche, October 1859 from Fenelon Falls, and Lindsay, Canada West, relating to the death of his brother John K. Roche, Provincial Land Surveyor, while surveying the Bobcaygeon Road. Also included are extracts from the diary of William Bell, chief chairman of John Roche's party from July 1859 to April 1860. The survey was completed by Mr. Brady, Provincial Land Surveyor, in 1860.

The Red River Settlement at times spoken of as Fort Garry" (33 pages); "Historical Paper No. 2. The Fenian Raid of October 1871 into Manitoba" (21 pages); "Historical Paper No. 3. Being the first paper of the rebellion of 1885" (22 pages); "Historical Paper No. 4. Re. The half breed and Indian insurrection of 1885" (22 pages). There are references throughout to Louis Riel.
