This item is a broadside which reads "A By-Law to amend By-Law No. 54, ...... for the purpose of restraining the running at large of Animals in the Township of North Monaghan, providing for the impounding of the same and settling the height and description of Fences in said Township." The broadside was printed by Alexander Graham of Peterborough.

The fonds consists of John Dobbin's treasurer's accounts from 1865 and 1867; printing schedules and fees, 1878; and statement of accounts, 1899. All of these items pertain to North Monaghan Township.
