The Otonabee Region Conservation Authority (ORCA) eventually became involved in operating, and later, in selling the Centre. File includes newsletters (1968), ORCA meeting minutes (1971, 1991), newspaper clippings and correspondence (1969-1972, 1985-1991) - agreement between ORCA and Males and Morgan (1991), BWC history, audit report, BWC board of directors meeting minutes (1968-1971), field trip information, letters patent incorporating BWC (1966), constitution and by-laws, and a financial statement (1968).

This addition to the fonds consists of articles and booklets written by Frank Morris; manuscripts and published articles by Douglas Sadler; correspondence, minutes of meetings relating to Sadler's involvement in environmental and naturalist issues and activities; correspondence relating to Teacher's College and several issues of the Young Naturalist. Series consists of records documenting Sadler's involvement in various naturalist and environmental initiatives with businesses, government bodies, and other organizations. Records document The Outdoorsman Magazine, Campbell Productions documentary films, the Design Canada Education Seminar and Workshop Program, the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests, the Provincial Wayside (Roadside) Conference (sponsored by the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority (ORCA) and The Federation of Ontario Naturalists) in Peterborough in 1965. Series also includes significant documentation on the Peterborough City/County Waste Management Study. Sadler was the chairman of the Public Liaison Committee that assisted with communication between the public and the Waste Management Steering Committee.

Records relate to the Peterborough City/County Waste Management Study, including minutes and related notes, clippings, correspondence, reports, etc. pertaining to the Public Liaison Committee (PLC) which was founded to create communication channels between the public and the Waste Management Steering Committee. Drafts and discussion papers of the Peterborough City/County Waste Management Master Plan are also found here. Doug Sadler was the chairman of the PLC.
