Vera refers to her father as "Darling Vally-Boy" in most letters. There are a few letters from [father] to Vera. Letters from [father] to Vera are from France, Brooklyn, USA, and Rome, Italy. Other letters include a letter from Fanny Puzzi from Kensington, UK. Included also are three drawings made by Vera. Other material includes two post cards from Vera's father at Caen, France, and Paris, France to Vera at an address Paris in 1985. One poem written by Vera, addressed to her father is in French.

One letter appears to have been enclosed in the other, which provides context stating that the first letter was to be hand delivered, but was sent via mail with the second letter by way of explanation.
