This broadside addresses the resolutions as upheld by the authority of the Church of Scotland as prior to the Act of Union and objected to the recognition and exclusive rights of the Church of England in Canada. The resolutions were developing between the Church of Scotland and the Church of England around the time these two countries were uniting. It is addressed to the King of England regarding the religious rights of the people of Canada within the Church of Scotland.
