This fonds consists of photocopies of the Ernest Thompson Seton papers from the American Museum of Natural History, New York, and the Seton Museum, New Mexico. The fonds consists of two ledgers and loose items relating to the business of the Baulch Family: one cash book, business at Hampton, Ontario, 1881-1890; ledger, R. Baulch and Son, Port Hope, 1889-1904 and 1916-1937. The loose items include agreements between Joseph H. Baulch and various others to lease property from Baulch; tax notices and receipts; and a letter from Will Baulch. Also included is one photograph (tintype) of unidentified male.

Another book covers someone's personal expenses from 1887 to 1889. The third book covers someone's accounts from 1912 to 1915. The fourth book has a few expenses in it but it is mostly a handwritten English to French phase translation book with accompanying letters from an agency which placed governesses.

The home is located at 1202 Morton Line, Cavan, Ontario and was owned previously by a farmer named Daniel Nill (1915-[1985]). Included are letters written by Frances [ ], New York, to Daniel Nill between 1933 and 1940. Also included are letters, agreements, pamphlets, etc. associated with John Mason, William Mason, Orlie Mason, and G.A. Mason. These items are dated between 1886 and 1915.

There are records on conservation, Quetico Park, the Niagara area such as the American Falls and information on Banff and Jasper National Parks. Included in the fonds is the thesis of George Warecki entitled "Protecting Ontario's Wilderness: A History of Wilderness Conservation in Ontario." Also included in the fonds are various publications on wilderness, outdoor recreation, conservation and naturalist activities. There are also four scrapbooks which contain clippings regarding conservation, parks and the 1972 winter olympics.

Rubidge) report on the prospects for the development of the Trent Canal as an industrial navigation system linking Lakes Huron (through Georgian Bay) and Ontario. The fonds also includes comments on the state of repair of the existing locks, amount of work needed and estimated costs.
