This fonds consists of glass slides which were used as teaching materials at Mount St. Joseph. The subjects include Tennyson: Idylls of the King, 55 slides; physiography, 15 slides; zoology, 5 slides; physics, 4 slides; English and history, 7 slides; and, European history, 6 slides. Ten of the slides in physiography, 2 slides in botany and 1 slide in chemistry were made by high school students in Lindsay.

This collection consists of a book of typed recipes with "J.R. Ferguson" hand-written on the front cover. Its cover is hand-made with a coloured drawing of a woman carrying a platter with the name . Also included in the fonds is a letter on Hall & Furgason letterhead (Produce Commission Merchants, New York) from a son to his mother dated September 20, 1895. (Note different spelling of the name Ferguson/Furgason).

Front and rear covers detached but present, covers lightly soiled and chipped, light crease to lower outer corner throughout text, very faint vertical crease where pamphlet may once have been folded; one contemporary ink addition to p.3, and several to the list of Officers on p.7. In red ink is the addition of Dr. G. Sterling Ryerson's name as President (he became the second President of the Association after the death of John Beverley Robinson), also in red ink is a correction of the name Charles Gamble, Q.C. to 'Clarke' Gamble, in black ink is the addition of 'Southern Branch" (Rt. Hon. D. Tisdale M.P ...), and under Honorary Vice-Presidents these names were added: The Earl of Carnwath, Maj. Gen. C.W. Robinson C.B., Sir Chas. Hibbert Tupper Q.C., K.C.M.G., and Lt. Col. Chas. Crutchley, Scots Guards D.A.A.G.

File includes 9 black and white photographs and 2 negatives of archaeological sites taken by Verschoyle Blake during a trip in Greece with Gilbert Bagnani and his mother in the Spring of 1923. Also included is a letter from Constance Marani to her friend Hester Thom dated 1 March 1926. Also, two typed pages of notes compiled by the donor and titled “Letter, March 1 1926 from (Ethel) Constance Marani née Blake, 1896-1979” with a genealogical focus, and “Verschoyle Benson Blake 1899-1971”, also with a genealogical focus. Verschoyle Blake helped the Bagnanis, Gilbert and Stewart, whose papers are located in Trent University Archives, with the architectural design of a library in their Port Hope, Ontario house, Vogrie.
