This collection consists of items taken out from the collection of books from the Margaret Laurence collection at Catharine Parr Traill College. Publications by Laurence which are referred to include "The Prophets Camel Bell", "Long Drums and Cannons", "The Christmas Birthday Story", "The Diviners", "Six Darn Cows" and "Manawaka works". Other records have information which refers to, or are from, Helen Margaret Buss, Philip Shirley, Scott Hutcheson, Angus Mowat, Al Purdy, William Ready, and the book "Poet Cop" by Hans Jewinski.

Fonds consists of manuscripts, notes, correspondence, publicity materials, audio cassettes and computer disks relating to the following plays written by David Carley: My Beautiful Mom, Memoirs of Montparnasse (by John Glassco; dramatisation by Carley), Two Passing Ships, Walking on Water, The Edible Woman (based on the novel by Margaret Atwood), Big Box, and The Morning Scoop.

Fonds consists of draft manuscripts, publicity materials, programs, and research notes pertaining to David Carley plays, articles and projects. Also included is Carley's personal correspondence, job and grant applications, and grade school essays and memorabilia.

This fonds consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings and the M.A. thesis of Margaret Heideman of Peterborough, Ontario. Most of the correspondence is from Robertson Davies who was editor of the Peterborough Examiner and for whom Heideman wrote book reviews.

Fonds consists of an original unpublished manuscript written by Dennis Dickens Sweeting about his life. There is reference throughout to his involvement with theatre. Also included are two letters (1999) addressed to Jean Murray Cole from Beth Clarke-Gilman (niece of Dennis Sweeting) and Dennis Sweeting. These letters concern the reading of Sweeting's manuscript.

This addition to the fonds consists of the research work of Professor Barbara Rooke with special reference to Samuel Taylor Coleridge and his works.

Fonds consists of publications and off-prints of Professor Roper, Roper's degrees of M.A. and Ph.D. from University of Chicago, and correspondence with Walter Blair, Margaret Laurence, Robertson Davies, and George Johnston.

This collection consists of six published articles and booklets relating to Mary Northway, W.E. Blatz, the Brora Centre and child psychology. It also consists of two photographs, one of Taylor Statten at Camp Ahmek in 1929, and one of Camp Ahmek council members in 1923, with accompanying key to names. Also included is a share certificate issued to Marian Gibson by John Northway and Son, Limited, and 1982 reminiscences of Mary Northway of her days at Glen Bernard Camp.

This fonds consists of correspondence, an early version of the manuscript of Our Forest Home, and a copyright document for Our Forest Home. Also included are drawings, a painting, and house plans.

Fonds is comprised of 54 audio reel-to-reel tapes created by Lionel Rubinoff; the tapes are recordings of contributions by Professor Rubinoff to CBC Ideas and other CBC programs broadcast in the late 1960s and 1970s. Also included are recordings of various lectures and a Sony reel-to-reel tape player.
