Some materials relate to Delaney's association with students of the Trent International Program and also to his philanthropic/educational efforts to improve the life of people living in Sierra Leone.

The papers of Box 1, covering the years 1970-1984, concern more than just Lady Eaton College. Apparently records of the Committee on Undergraduate Standing and Petitions were accumulated in the College and are presented here. Similarly, there are records of the Academic Development Committee as well as Lady Eaton Council and Cabinet minutes and Supervisors of Studies materials. Further boxes were added in later years.

Fonds consists of a letter from Bryan P. Reardon (Chair of Classical Studies, Trent University, 1967-1974) to Janet Bews, 1988. Also included are offprints signed by their authors, Bryan Reardon, Norma Miller (Bews' Ph.D. supervisor and Ashley Fellow of Trent University 1985-1986), and Konrad H. Kinzl and Herman Pontes (colleagues). The records concern all public relations aspects of Trent University and include many fugitive items from other fonds. They were forwarded to the Archives by Jim English. Many files pertain to student activism in the 1960's at Trent and at other universities, and to the Trent University Founding Fund and Development Fund. Information on convocations, text of honorary degree presentations and photographs is included. The dates covered are for the years 1962-1980.

Fonds is comprised of personal and professional correspondence, newspaper clippings, honorary degrees and other documents pertaining to the life and career of Thomas H.B Symons. The newspaper clippings are on the subject of French as a second language in Ontario schools, the Sturgeon Falls School Crisis (1971), and the Ministerial Commission on French Language Secondary Education. Some of the correspondence and other documents pertain to the Mulholland Family (1961-1965).

File consists of Drew's remarks at Trent convocation when he received Honorary degree in 1991; cards and notes; conversations about writers and writing and publishing woes; obituaries and memorial remembrance of Drew. Includes two photographs of Drew.

This collection is comprised of research files, published articles, government documents, reports and supporting documents all pertaining to Aboriginal issues in Canada. The materials were deposited by the Indigenous Studies Department, Trent University. Some documents were reallocated to the Government Documents section of Bata Library, some were returned to the Indigenous Studies Department, and those deemed to be of archival value are represented herein.
