There are in-depth references to properties and families on the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th lines east of the middle road to the Monaghan boundary.

Edward Templeton Brown, grandson to Frances and Thomas Stewart, was born at Goodwood, the family farm in Douro Township, Canada West, on December 24, 1852 to Edward Wilson Brown and Elizabeth Lydia Stewart. In 1879 he went to the Northwest Territory to help survey Riding Mountain National Park. After the survey was completed he worked for the Hudson's Bay Company. In 1880 he joined a party, led by Major Boulton, heading for the Shell River area of western Manitoba to settle on land. He joined Boulton's Scouts and during the Battle of Batoche was killed in action on May 12, 1885. The community in Peterborough decided to raise a memorial stone to Edward Brown to commemorate his death in the Riel Uprising.

This addition to the fonds consists of slide-tape presentation material which includes tapes and slides with a list of contents of the University Women's Club of Winnipeg, 1974; CFUW Journals; minutes, membership lists, and a "Tribute to Margaret White", of the University Women's Club, Peterborough; minutes, reports, and financial reports, etc. of the CFUW annual meeting Edmonton, 1989. This item is a booklet published by Hutchison House Museum, Peterborough, containing The Old Doctor written by Catharine Parr Traill and introduced by Jean Murray Cole. "The Old Doctor" (1985) was probably written between 1835 and 1840 when John Hutchison, a native of Kirkcaldy, Scotland, was practising medicine in Peterborough, Upper Canada.

Included are some of Glenn Madill’s employment records, correspondence between Marisa Scigliano and archival repositories, photocopies of articles, personal notes, maps, posters, etc. Included are photographs forming the ‘Moccasin Madness’ and ‘Magnetic Moccasins’ parts of Scigliano’s ‘Moccasin Mania’ exhibit: approximately 33 enlarged mounted colour photographs taken by Scigliano on the Symons Campus, Trent University, in the fall of 2013; 16 enlarged black and white photographs taken by Madill in the 1920s during his northern expeditions (images found through research at the National Research Council).

This fonds consists of materials on the American Canoe Association, compiled by Jean Cole for research on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Regatta at Juniper Point, Stoney Lake. The compilation consists of copies of papers from the American Canoe Association Book, 1883; copies of articles from the Peterborough Examiner concerning the Stoney Lake Meet in 1883 and a 1976 map produced by the Stoney Lake Cottagers Association with an accompanying booklet listing property owners on the lake and the lot locations. Also included in the collection are copies of American Canoe Association yearbooks (1938-1947), some badges, a belt buckle and membership cards.
