"The other Pompey" according to Stewart Brown is his grandfather, T.A. Stewart Brown (1852-1936).

Also included is a linen-backed map of Ireland "published under the superintendence of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge." Sir Francis Beaufort, relative of Frances Stewart, is known to have been involved in the preparation of such maps/atlases published by the above Society
File includes 9 black and white photographs and 2 negatives of archaeological sites taken by Verschoyle Blake during a trip in Greece with Gilbert Bagnani and his mother in the Spring of 1923. Also included is a letter from Constance Marani to her friend Hester Thom dated 1 March 1926. Also, two typed pages of notes compiled by the donor and titled “Letter, March 1 1926 from (Ethel) Constance Marani née Blake, 1896-1979” with a genealogical focus, and “Verschoyle Benson Blake 1899-1971”, also with a genealogical focus. Verschoyle Blake helped the Bagnanis, Gilbert and Stewart, whose papers are located in Trent University Archives, with the architectural design of a library in their Port Hope, Ontario house, Vogrie.
File consists of two notebooks, one of which seems to be records of the South Monaghan [Agricultural Society?], 1882-1908, plus a notebook of clippings regarding compensation for flooding of the area farm land by the Trent Canal system, 1915. Also, one portrait (unidentified) of a woman, ca. 1890.
Cassettes contain a 1982 audio from Trent University Music Society's production of Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta "The Pirates of Penzance". One cassette contains Act 1, the other contains Act 2.
Collection includes a poster titled "Second Annual Bay Bell Memorial Race at Kawartha Downs" and 2 photographs with race horses: "Hiawatha Parade", 1984; "Francis T. Return", 1985. The race was sponsored by The Social and Athletic Association, Trent University. Bay Bell was Head of Security at Trent University, 1967-1983.

Fisher Gauge Ltd.This collection consists of two legal documents which belonged to Mrs. Friedman's sister. One is an indenture between James Holden and Thomas Westaby of Lincolnshire, dated February 20, 1686. The other is a land grant to Henry Smith, of 200 acres in Garafraxa township, Halton County, dated December 2, 1824 and December 27, 1825.
Friedman, Margaret A.Collection consists of three pamphlets, "Our Own Cookbook" / by the East Victoria Women's Institute, 1905, "Pioneer Gleanings from Verulam, 1867-1967" / by T.H. Martin, and "Bury's Green Branch of the Women's Institute, 1953-1993". Also included are items which were removed from a scrapbook: seven photographs, brochures, and several newspaper clippings relating to Fenelon Falls, Bobcaygeon, Lindsay, and Bury's Green, Ontario, 1961, 1984-1994. The photographs include Women's Institute members such as Nan McGhee, Phyllis Fell, Esther Humphries, Laura Flett, Mrs. Tiers, Clara Flett, and Grace Barker; also included are photos of Sherry L. Telford and Kim Chambers during the Olympic Torch Run, 1988. This collection also consists of a scrapbook entitled "Tweedsmuir History: Bury's Green Branch Women's Institute". Enclosed in it are approximately 70 photographs, a history of Bury's Green branch of the Women's Institute, maps, brochures, correspondence, historical accounts, and memorabilia, n.d. This collection also consists of research material for the Tweedsmuir History; Hand Books for the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario, 1949, 1971, 1983, and 1987; notebooks containing reports on the Tweedsmuir History, on Historical Research and Cultural Events, and on Education and Cultural Activities, 1953-1987; programs dated 1953-54 through 1993-94; 100th anniversary materials; and correspondence and brochures relating to an award given to a student at Fenelon Falls Secondary School, 1996.
Bury's Green Women's InstituteThis collection consists of 278 slides taken by Rosemary McConkey during her work as a nutritionist in Malaya (1962) and in Nigeria (1965). McConkey was part of a team of medical personnel and scientists from the University of Ohio who undertook surveys of nutritional needs in these two areas. McConkey has supplied a detailed listing of the slides (below) and has also included a 45 r.p.m. recording of the national anthem of Malaya "Negara Ku,", six books relating to the two areas and a map of Malaya. Hay-Dunlop familyThis collection consists of an undated broadside of furniture and house furnishings of Disney Bros., Bowmanville, and an undated broadside of ladies' and children's clothing, Hardy's: The Hewson store in Cobourg, Ontario. It also contains a broadside detailing conditions of sale of the Innes Mill near Grafton dated 1876. With this broadside is an original bill of sale, signed by purchaser George Fowler and dated December 12, 1876.
This fonds consists of two volumes of notes with pasted-in illustrations of house and furniture design. Included are University of Toronto lecture notes on history of household life and loosely inserted in the volumes are further notes and examinations.

B. Jones of the Dominion Photo and View Co., Brighton, Ontario. There are also 4 photographs of unknown people.
This collection consists of 32 letters. Most were written by Alan Stewart to his sister Joan Stewart. Stewart served as an engineer with the Cable Section, Canadian Corps, British Expeditionary Force during World War 1 in France and Belgium. There are 3 photographs of Alan Stewart in the collection.

Collection consists of 17 postcards depicting various buildings especially in the cities of Hamilton and London, but also in Belleville and Kingston, and one in Montreal, Quebec. Most of the cards are addressed to Miss Charlotte Banks, Brantford, Ontario, and are dated 1908-1911.
Collection consists of approximately fifty pieces of antiquarian maps, engraved views, portraits and scenes relating to the Red River Settlement of Manitoba and the North West Rebellion of 1885. The engravings reflect the emerging province of Manitoba as seen through the eyes of nineteenth century travellers and historians. Two bird’s eye views are of particular note, the first being a spread of views, buildings and an insert map of Winnipeg dated 1882, and the second being a lithographic bird’s eye view of Winnipeg, 1884, depicting the city in its early development, surrounded by vignettes of local prominent public and private buildings. Also included is a “British America” J. & F. Tallis map with the principle vignette being “Hudson City”, ca. 1849.
Redelmeier, Elizabeth RuthThis accession consists of copy photographs, several of which are of originals in the Reid family photograph album and date from the 1840's to 1900's. One is of the Robert Henry "Harry" Devinish Reid family accompanied by an identification sheet with vital statistics for each member. Included also is a set of ten copy photographs of three generations of the Reid family. This set is accompanied by a family chart providing statistics for those listed.
Reid familyThis collection consists of 14 photograph negatives of Peterborough Normal School, undated, and portraying people and the grounds of the school. The negatives are enclosed in a J.J. Gilfillan, Orono, Ontario, photographer's envelope, with the name Calvin Hamm, Orono, Ontario written on it. Calvin Hamm was born on March 28, 1909 at Orono, son of Ernest Hamm and Florence Hughson. He was appointed Principal of the Morley Consolidated School at Stratton in September 1935 and received his B.A. at Western University in June 1943. He later taught high school in Fort Frances (taken from a typed information enclosure which accompanies the collection). Also included is a Peterborough Normal School Christmas Card, undated; a Peterborough Normal School Literary Society invitation, 1930; and a photograph of the "Floating Bridge, Bridgenorth, Chemong Lake, 1933."
