Octavo. (24.9 cm x 16.3 cm), pp. [iv], [1]-131; [1]-192 + 2 plates; maps, illustrations, original brown printed paper wraps, title-page reproduced on front cover, sewn binding. Spine gently browned, a few corner creases, else very good copy. The French section contains an article: L'oeuvre manuscrite ou imprimee des Recollets de la Mission du Canada (Province de Saint-Denis), 1615-1629. Par le R.P. Hugolin Lemay. The English section contains, among others: Shell-beads of the Beothuk Indians, by W.J. Wintemberg, The Walpole Indian, by Bert Hudgins, and A New Relic of the Jesuit Mission of 1640-41 in Western Ontario, by Hartley M. Thomas.

The fonds consists of family and related papers of Henry Fowlds and his family including James S. Fowlds and H.M. Fowlds. It also includes business correspondence, invoices, some journals and cashbooks, mortgages as well as deeds regarding the business of Henry Fowlds, Jas. S. Fowlds and Bros. and H.M. Fowlds. In December 2001, Trent University Archives launched an online exhibit which depicts Helen Fowld's experiences in World War I. This fonds consists of: a minute book of Loyal Orange Lodge (Diamond) Number 80, Peterborough, Ontario, containing minutes of both regular and special meetings from January 1874 to September 1900 and membership rolls for the same years: a minute book of Loyal Orange Lodge Number 80 including regular meetings of January 1905 to March 1909; a Blue degree dated March 1905 to June 1906; a Royal Arch Purple degree dated July 1905 to 1908; membership rolls; and the building committee minute book, December 1932 to December 1935.
